BUY @ MAGIC MUSIC MAGAZINE: New Album: 85 BPM – Alannah Myles (Review)

Incredible comeback of the legendary nineties rockstar Alannah Myles. Her album “85 BPM” sounds as strong as in her glory days.

A mix of old songs like “Black Velvet”, “Leave It Alone (85 BPM), “Comment Ca Va” and “Lover Of Mine” (with Liny Wood) in a new version. In 2008 she recorded an own version of “Faces In The Crowd” (Tom Petty and famous by Lionel Richie) and”I Can’t Stand The Rain” (Ann Peebles) with Jeff Healy, this version is also amazing and Jeff returned in “Anywhere But Home”. That is one of teh brand new songs. You really needs to take a listen to “Only Wings”, this sounds like an incredible rockballad, that should be in the Top 10 charts all over the world.

Really recommended this album (deserve awards!) with 13 tracks and an acoustic version of “Trouble” and 2 remixes of “Black Velvet” by Terry Brown & Veronica Ferraro.
