New music or not, Kim Wilde is touring the last couple of years each year, but… people are writing on Facebook that they are looking forward to see the eighties legend in a way it suggest that she is doing a Comeback.

For me it was the first time to visit the recarnation of Theater Vredenburg, which I have visit a lot to see BZN and Savage Garden for instance. TivoliVredenburg looks great and the vibe was great, but to run two couple of stairs to enter the concerthall is very risky, so take your blisters with you and never ever take some high heels on, although the stage is almost too high for me with my 188 cm.

Kim Wilde bring along a Hertfordshire-resident to support her during her European Tour. Lawrence King is the lucky one, which she met with her family when they visit the local pub. He released an EP in 2014 “Until The End Of Time” featuring “Driving To Win”, “Until The End Of Time”, React” and “Set In Stone”.

Hill performs his songs and promote the EP very well, but impressed with his own version of “Save Tonigh” (Eagle-Eye Cherry) and “Show Me Love” (Robin S).

The audience enjoyed his music including his latest Single “Let Me Go”.

For some reason Kim Wilde caused always some trouble in my life. My photocamera says goodbye after I had a Kodakmoment with Ricky & Kim and the perfect picture was damaged. A second time I met Kim and shortly afterwards my photocamera was stolen in Burger King Utrecht by a stafmember and a third time my concertticket was stolen in front of Paradiso, but gladly the staffmembers believes my story and today… my battery loader says goodbye during the preperation.

Back to the one who shocked me on a Sunny day!

Like Madonna, Kim Wilde is not a live-act that is as good as the studio recordings, but that does not matter as she is such a great entertainer, but after all these years Kim Wilde is like Take That. She sang live like she is just playing all her hits in the most perfect way. Almost 2 hours I was just staring at her very “Close” like this is MAGIC MUSIC LIVE and guess what… I have recorded the ultimate highlight! Do not say you have seen a better version of “Cambodia”.

During her Song “Stone” she almost arrived at the microphone too late and because she is “Wilde” she almost fell once, but both actions looks like a special touch to show everyone that Kim is a wonderful popstar that is still liking it so much and it was really amazing to see her love for her bandmembers.

In the middle of the concert Ricky And Kim did some acoustic versions. A tribute to their touring friend of 15 years songwriter Steve Byrd who passed away due to a heart attack (October 2, 2016) is “Hey Mr. Heartache” and Bee Gees-cover “If I Can Have You”. Lawrence Hill gets on stage to do “It’s Here” and “Chequered Love”.

The audience, mixed with all kinds of people, like 2 women dressed as Kim Wilde, die-hard fans from United Kingdom and Belgium and men that jumping around wild(e). They all sing along with all the songs, like all the songs are their favorite.

Tonight was the final of the European Tour that ends with the song “Kids In America” featuring die-hard fans from United Kingdom and Belgium, but also girls who dressed like Kim Wilde.

Kim, we can’t wait for the New Album and a New tour and thanks for an memorable evening.
