BREAKING NEWS: Lesley Gore (68) R.I.P.

“It’s My Party” -singer Lesley Gore partied further in heaven with her angel voice. She died at the young age of 68 in New York City.

Besides her smash hit “It’s My Party”, she is famous for the song “You Don’t Own Me”, also known in a beautiful Dusty Springfield version and last year redone by POLICA on their Album “Shulasmith”

According to Lois Sasson, her lover for 33 years, Lesley a non-smoker, died on February 16, 2015, at the NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, New York City, of lung cancer.

Her funeral services were scheduled for February 19, 2015, at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue.

New Album: Alive in America / BREAKING NEWS: Joe Cocker (70) R.I.P.

The legend Joe Cocker has passed away, just some days after the re-issue of his strange coincidenced title “Alive In America”.An Album originally from 1981.

The Last Studio Album is from 2012 “Fire It Up” and his Last Single Releases is from 2013 “Fire It Up (Live)”, “I Come In Peace (Live)” and “Up Where We Belong (Live)”

Other sad news related to Joe, was his London-based agent, Barrie Marshall. According to Joe himself, he died early Monday of lung cancer in Colorado, where he has lived for the past two decades.

Cocker has done many great things, one of them is performing at Woodstock performing The Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends.”

He overwhelmed the world with his “You Are So Beautiful,” in 1975.

With Jennifer Warnes he went Number One in the eighties with “Up Where We Belong”.

Other huge hits where Randy Newman’s song, “You Can Leave Your Hat On” and “When the Night Comes.”
